Customer Help

One of our many goals at Elite Septic is to make the process easier on the customer when they need a new septic system. Please read below for the steps to take when needing a new system or field lines replaced.

* Wastewater is in its own category, each system must be permitted.

Septic System Process

Please see steps below on the process of getting your permits. Feel free to contact us for any other questions.

1

Step 1 is to contact a soil scientist to set up a percolation test. A list of Licensed soil classifiers can be found at https://alabamasoilandwater.gov/professional-soil-classifiers/   or click the button below

2

Step 2 is to wait. Once the soil classifier collects his data they will submit this to the health department. Keep in mind this process could take up to 15 days. Once your Local Health Department analyzes, this you'll be able to get your permit / CEP-2.

3

Step 3 is to submit these forms to a licensed septic installer for an estimate. The installer will need these forms to review the permit requirements and specifications for your system.
